People don't just get branded as Mormons. Perhaps if people just think you're a Mormon out of the blue then maybe you're acting like a Mormon.

No, you guys are quick to brand people over the smallest thing. You tried to brand me as a conservative because I said that people aren't going to change their lives if they don't take responsibility for them.

No I wasn't. I've said these types of things prior to seeing my therapist. Things about how if you quit trying and blame the responsibility for your own happiness or life on others rather than taking charge you're probably not going to get better. That's not a conservative view. That's not political in any way. It's similar to the Republican "pull yourself up by the boot straps" attitude that doesn't want to admit that some people are born with more opportunity than others, but it's not quite the same.

Actually no.

I started when I first joined in a discussion with Chula and he pegged me the same way.

Then I also shared my own independent thoughts on accountability that wasn't fed to me by my therapist, it was actually a diatribe I went on with my therapist because a lot of what bothers me about the people I've surrounded myself with is the lack of accountability people want to take as they end up trying to shove it on others. Such as, my dad being an abusive piece of **** and never taking responsibility for it by admitting it and getting help. Instead he'd blame it on his job, my mom or on us.

Edit: It's just more proof that you guys like to jump to conclusions based on little things.

They like to pounce on statements that come off as defensive. If I were Anthony Fantano I'd give that strat a light five out of 10 for reliability. Which puts it about halfway to To Pimp A Butterfly.
