People get bent out of shape over any contradictory opinion. Tell a Michael Jackson fan that The Beatles were the greatest Rock band in pop music history and the MJ fan will get bent.

Relgious people should not get bent out of shape, they should understand that atheist are using free-will to not believe as theist use to believe (the same free-will God give all human beings). There's no reason they should get bent out of shape.

He mentioned Red Giants, White Dwarves, Quasars, Pulsars, Super Novas, Worm Holes, and Black Holes but failed to mention Neutron Stars and Magnetars, that was a little disappointing but otherwise it's kinda funny.

Well if you happen to be a Neutron star or a Magnetar, then I could understand your disappointment at being left out of the joke.

AKA totally ridiculous.
Yeah it was concocted by Pat Robertson to convert godless Japanese children.

It was also one of the first animes shown in America. So all that filthy Sailor Moon fan fiction lying around on the internet? You can thank good ol' Pat for that.

I believe that the creation of our universe would have had to have been kickstarted by a force bigger than it, but I think that the typical religious view that said force would be an omnipotent celestial being is too far-fetched to warrant my belief.

I think religion was a necessary factor for the Earth to grow and develop, as believing that an unseen force was watching and judging us lead people to make good moral choices for fear of the afterlife. However, I think religion is now more or less a trump card used to incite conflict and hatred.

Of course, those families that attend church of a Sunday would disagree, because on such a small scale it truly is about belief and spirituality. However, if we are looking at the bigger picture, religion is now more trouble than it's worth.

My viewpoint may also be somewhat tainted as the Priest of my old church who literally forced me to confess in the confessional booth when I was around 7, even though I persisted I had done nothing wrong (I was a good child) was later charged with paedophilia.

Because some people think it might constitute a mental illness.

I don't believe that, but I think it's rational to be a little weary of people who do things based on faith rather than logic, especially those that let faith motivate every single thing they do.

And of course, the most f*cked up sh*t in the history of mankind has been done in the name of faith. This applies to the radical athiests too because being solely convinced that there is no god is in itself a leap of faith. And those people can be just as frightening, as well Nietzsche followers who want to "kill" god, or solipsists who think they are the only valid thing in their existance and therefore "god".

In short, everybody is f*cking crazy. Except for me.

Nah booboo, you're pretty far up there on the crazy scale.

But I'm farther, so it doesn't really matter

Heres my beliefs in as short as explanation as possible

I think Earth was created because a rock got into the orbit of the sun and was at a nice comfortable distance from the sun to have life & such. So creatures like bacteria and shit started growing and (skipping a lot here) eventually evolved into the humans we are today. And when we die, we go into a state of unconsciousness, rot, and become dirt so that life can go on and other things can grow or live. But somewhere along the way the human race didn't know anything about science and wanted answers to their questions about things they didn't understand. So they made beliefs and religions to give themselves some peace of mind of the unknown.
