Okay?

Now,

The taking of life is defined as murder.

If he had just said that he didn't believe life started until [ whatever he believes ], that would have been one thing. But to say 'Yeah, i think about it, and sometimes i think this and sometimes i think that' ~ it's like saying that he condones murder.
That is not the legal definition of murder, therefore your point is flawed. Nice try though.

To a lot of pro-life people it is.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

Unless WendyCal would have me jailed for hiring an assassin for having a sick dog put to sleep her definition is still nonsense.

Even if you are pro-life, you should be forced to acknowledge that a women has a moral right to abort the child if it threatens her life. The government wouldn't be able to regulate that well. Therefore, it has to be kept open.

To me it's a none of my\your business issue. I think it should be up to the doctors and the patients. If they have no morals qualms with it, then everyone else should mind their own business.

Have you ever been in an abortion clinic, with someone?

Before the appointment, you have plenty of time to think.

And before the proceedure, you are given counselling and MORE time to think. That's why i left out the with malice aforethought part.

Also, it bears stating that it ONLY applies to human life.

(You couldn't 'murder' your poor, sick dog.)

So you admit that you purposefully left out part of the definition to help your argument? Thats just poor debating right there. What if the abortion is out of self defense?

That could be left up to a doctor.

And, please ~ i think a victim of rape or a life-threatening pregnancy SHOULD have the option, also.

What i don't think is that abortion should be used as birth control ~ if someone wants to mess around, and gets pregnant, i don't believe killing the child is the solution to the problem. For at least, she can take THAT much responsibility for her actions, can't she? i'm sorry it happened, but i wasn't responsible for spoon-feeding her birth control pills every morning, or making sure she was packing some other method ~ SHE was.

Yes, i WOULD feel sorry for her, on a personal level and if i knew her, i would support her. That's another of those things about Christians ~ we don't really care how you got there. We have ALL sinned. All we care about is, if you ask us for help, and then we're glad to give it.

Not to "help my argument" ~ see my post, above

Abortion in self-defense ~ see above

(Did you think that up? Seriously. Because that is perfect, the perfect solution!)
