as Marx said "Religion is the opiate of the masses"...I have been an agnostic for a few years, but after some mature thought in the last couple of days (I heard some news that really, how can I put it, hurt me in some way, yes they were religion related in some way) I think that now I am an agnostic atheist, and I strongly believe that religion and especially christianity hurts people, their minds, their souls and damages their lives...
Play dress up every Sunday, chant versus from a book, Its an excepted cult..

Only if they allow it too... and quite frankly, they were doomed from the start if they do.

good way of putting it... and I agree. When I'm reading from that book I always get this creepy feeling... I usually enjoy the homily above all when I go to mass, depending on which priest is saying it. I can't stand priests that "throw stones" during the mass at particular groups... homosexuals, those who choose abortion, people who choose sex before marriage etc. They should practice what they preach and keep the stones in their pockets. Some priests aren't judgmental and are very uplifting, they are the ones I continue to go to mass for.
