I just don't get it. Someone was violated and the abusers decided to publish their actions on the web?? And then people MAKE A JOKE OF IT? I just... it's ****ing sick. It's inhuman. Guys like this need to be separated from society. Just put them on an island somewhere and let them all die the **** out, they're worthless.

It's easy to harass people on the internet, you're able to dehumanize them and rationalize your behavior. Add a mob mentality to that and you get a huge troll epidemic.

The whole idea that it's somehow acceptable to make fun of a girl, a woman for being sexually assaulted... it just... I don't know. It doesn't compute in any way whatsoever and I don't understand where anyone would ever believe this is OK or "funny" in any way at all.

I was sexually assaulted by two of my exes but chose not to tell my parents or anyone close to me because I was so afraid that someone would ask "what were you wearing?" or "did you tease him?"

I'm so sick of this shit being a woman's fault, so sick of men getting the ****ing Get out of Jail Free card just because they claim they can't control their "primal urges" or what the fuck ever explanation they have for their grotesque behavior.

The problem is that they think this is something to harass someone about in the first place. I'm not saying you're saying otherwise but really, how do these guys become so desensitized? I'm making a point of saying guys because I'm more than willing to wager that at least 99% of the people who were trolling were male. If not all of them. I could be taking this a little too far but it's like it's a problem with men as a whole, at least in America- they don't seem to care about how their actions affect other people. "der, just gonna do what I want and not care look at my dick lol" And yeah, there's exceptions. But not enough.

There aren't enough negative adjectives in the dictionary to describe how horrible this behavior is.

I think that is taking it a little too far. It's certainly not men as a whole, most men, you and me included, would never pull a disgusting stunt like that.

I'm uncomfortable with men, period. I really lucked out finding one that's halfway decent and cares about me as a human being, would lay his life before me without question, and loves me unconditionally.

But a whole lot of men I've seen have behavior/mannerisms/beliefs and opinions about women that are so troubling that I can't say I'm attracted to men at all.

I feel like empathy should be as crucial to academics and development early on as the alphabet and basic math. Like, if you can't respect other people, add and subtract, and spell 'dog', you don't get to pass 3rd grade.
