Right, I can't argue the point any more. You're just not listening t me. You've obviiously never been in a one-parent family. As I said, my ma worked three jobs and then did the housework and looked after us. There were nights she went to bed shattered, and got up seven the next morning, so don't tell me she was sitting around watching TV. Most wives here in Ireland work(ed) their arses off to keep home and family together, and I take it as an insult to them, and all other working housewives, that you denigrate the role of a housewife in the home. I'mjust going to leave it at that before I say something I'll regret.

I admit I don't read everything he writes. The way he writes makes me a little nauseous, like trying to walk in quicksand. English could do with a little brushup. But from what I have read I see nothing to refute the belief that he is lumping all housewives in the one basket and saying "this job is not as hard as an office job etc and is not a real job", and that's what I got a problem with.

Or as Frasier would correct, that is the thing with which I have a problem...

216/butthead: do you agree or disagree with the below statement?

"The job of any woman, taking care of the household and being a housewife while not holding down any other job is, in general, not as hard as any other job I can think of and is not what I consider a real job".

A simple yes or no. Prove me wrong when I say, behind all the smoke and mirrors, this is what you believe. Or don't.

i mostly agree 95% with that statement but i just disagree that there arent easier job cause there are some in my opinion

1. You agree (95%) with the statement, so you do think that the job of a housewife is easy and you wouldn't put it on a level with other "real" jobs and
2. You disagree that there aren't easier jobs? So that means ... um... you agree that there are easier jobs? Is that what you're saying?

So rather than a straight yes or no, you're still dancing on the head of a pin? Can you not come straight out and say yes or no? It's a simple choice: you either think a housewife's job is easier and not a real job, or you don't. I'm still none the wiser...

And what do you mean, you are a housewife? Aren't you a guy? Even more
