I don't think I am, 'women dominate medal standings', the agenda is to somehow prove women outperformed men in the Olympics & besides the Guardian is as bad as the Daily Mail for agenda driven bs at times.

But let's say I am, let's agree it's a shit article as even if there was a point to it, 56% is hardly domination. Apparently the numbers are wrong as well going by the comments (wouldn't know, don't care about the Olympics). So shit.

There are countries where female children are circumsized, killed, or given up at birth for their gender. There are countries where rape is legal, in some case it's even used as a weapon. And the most you guys can argue about is the ****ing Olympics? Who ****ing cares??

no im sayin that ppl tend to discuss things that relate to them or interest them.... feminist and racial issues are a much bigger deal in 3rd world countries. i speak from an american viewpoint where i find pretty much all feminist problems to either be exagerated or non existant. i can really only speak about ppl i see in the media or media stories or ppl i see irl or on the internet.

the 3rd world issues are a distant world from here n i cant relate. doesnt mean i dont care or that we as a general forum dont care, but theres a limit to how much we care. i highly doubt anyone here has ever done a single thing to stop or reduce rape in bangladesh or yemen or wherever

Let's change the subject especially for WD. Anyone see the treatment of women in India on Ross Kemp Extreme World? Shocking tbh they are treated worse than cattle over there, the trafficking, murder & rape is mental. At one point Ross looked like he was going to rip this guy's head off who'd murdered 500 girls.
