Oh, come now. Feminism as a field of discourse is huge, elaborate, and filled with differing perspectives and competing points of view. Saying "I hate feminism" is a bit like saying "I hate anthropology" based on your limited experience with the archaeology subfield, and that's unreasonable.

Are you an unreasonable person? Do you deny logic? I would hope the answer to both is "no".

of course we are speaking in generalities. i have made that clear countless times and dont think i need to do so anymore. if you dont think the word feminist has a negative connotation and for very good reason then i think youre a bit dillusional. i have actually posted videos on this site and probably in this thread by feminists i agree with

I fail to see how loaded questions are any less valid in an argument based on gross generalizations. Either way is not the way to have a debate.

Generalizations are simply invalid as topics of argument. They present nothing nuanced, supportive, or accurate to be discussed. Generalizations are for small talk with new acquaintances or distant relatives at weddings and funerals before the food comes out, not for an intellectual discussion.

Well this statement is simply untrue. Any transmission of misinformation is harmful, both to those who receive it and to those whom it is about. Ignorance, and by extension generalizing, is an easily avoidable disservice to the public. I see nothing wrong with my interest in identifying and addressing misinformation where it is seen; knowledge and discussion are beautiful feats of humanity if we allow them to be.

Perhaps I can be faulted for expecting more from this thread, this forum, and these users, but that's another loaded statement; I didn't load it though, you did.
