In "being" I have noticed to two most prevalent elements in the known Universe apparently are:

1 - Hydrogen

2 - Stupidity

And since I can only seem to be good at one thing at a time I have made my choice at which of these elements to incorporate into my existence every day.

What about Justin Bieber? Doesn't he fall somewhere between Hydrogen and Stupidity?

But of course.

He's been on Oprah hasn't he?

That qualifies as a gaseous state of being. More methane than hydrogen, but still.

Anybody who can jostle for camera position on Soul Train, or Oprah, gets their fifteen minutes...

Does the Playboy mansions have chocolate bunnies for Easter?

Discuss.

Chaos theory doesn't refute anything. It's just a collection of mathematical tools to use to understand the emergent behavior of deterministic systems that are unpredictable because of their sensitivity to initial conditions. It's like saying chess theory refutes something. Chess theory is just a toolbag.

Laws and principles and such can refute things, but "theory" is a word used in academia to represent a collection of observations and tendencies, not the way laymen used it when they "have a theory".

Here's an idea that crossed my mind on psychedelics not long ago:

Does the mind really produce cosnsciousness, or is the mind merely a conduit through which consciousness can travel, that consciousness is in fact something separate to ourselves (or to put it another way - something akin to a tuner picking up FM radio)? Both seem equally plausible to me.
