That is actually the opposite of true. Generally speaking, violent crime has been at historic lows in recent years.

If you said against the White Conservative Christian, then yes I agree.

Really no one should not praise or trivialize that kind of violence. I'm against it, and since I don't know the people involved all I can really do is speak out against it (or any other example), when it is brought up in conversation. Other members and I might have zero influence on lil Reese, but at least you can know that I along with other membes are against that violent act.

So how is this different from other public displays of religiosity? This is just another example of post-Protestant morality where people slap each other on the back for having the correct thoughts on X...

I'm curious, in regards to those who participated in this thread & are upset by this act of violence, have any of you done anything about it?

Are you talking about this specific situation or just in context?

Violence is pretty dominant in bars. I used to have to separate people all the time when they got their punch ons, and throw them out the door. This is when there was no security while I was managing. Otherwise security backed me up on the ball for subduing violence.

To be honest I don't know what you're trying to get at. Are you trying to justify violence by making it subjective in every scenario? Do you actually think violence is ever a positive thing whether it's necessary or not? If you're going to point out every historical, religious, political event really you're just stressing that violence is more and more of a bigger issue to put it simply. It's really not that complicated.

You've taken one scenario and blown up the whole damn world.

Is there seriously a discussion going on over the morality of beating the **** out of someone?

The **** does that have to do with someone beating someone down and then brutally stomping their helpless body?
