London attack/beheading

I've only ever seen a "clean" one and it was brutal enough. Although I think in this case they couldn't actually manage to get the guy's head off, which probably makes it far more unpleasant.

I am pretty sure the soldier didn't really know what was happening till it was over, I mean he was stunned from being hit by the car alone.

It's a favorite form of execution by Chechen extremists. I've seen a few unpleasant beheadings and throat slashings that they've taken the liberty to film themselves in order to "make a statement".

I think he was married as well, he looked pretty young...

@Po, human curiosity I guess.

Think the worst one I've seen is the Dagestan massacre. I've seen Mexican cartel ones including the chainsaw video but the Dagestan massacre really is horrific, look on Google for a breakdown of the story. It is much worse than the others I've seen because with this you see the before, where these lads are begging for their lives, they know they are in deep sh1t.

Don't think I'm quite ready for desensitizing myself to all the horrors of the world quite yet and would rather not watch any video related to this tragedy, let alone a filmed beheading.

To me, morally speaking, this looks simply like the grotesque murder of an innocent. I feel sorry for all the victims of this crime, witnesses included.

Any videos you'll find on mainstream news networks will only feature his post-attack speech which isn't gore unless you don't like seeing blood. I'm not even sure if footage of the actual attack exists. It is quite the extraordinary video to watch though. With all the oddities of the attack coming Itogether I've never seen anything like it.

I found it strange that there didn't seem to be any blood around the body on the street, it took me a while to see the crashed car and the dark stream coming out from under it and put two and two together.

His name was just Lee Rigby. He was a drummer for the military band.

I don't know if he was married but he definitely had a small child.
