This guy sounds like he's stoned and as for going on about Iraqi law in London.... I've really no idea what he's on about. Where I live feels nothing like Baghdad!

The rape gangs I think, are to do with I think a recent case of where a group of Asian purveys were raping 15 year old girls. I can't even remember if these guys were actually muslim or not.

I'm often quite skeptic concerning the accuracy of reporting by the media first and foremost. It can often become a media circus played out to the point of exhaustion, like the incident in Benghazi for example.

I just simply turn the TV off or change the channel anymore.

For that reason I haven't read or watched much about the incident, as I know it's going to be the same old thing in the press and people jumping to the wrong conclusions as always.

I haven't been to Woolwich in years, but it's always been a violent and not very nice location.

Well I jumped to the conclusion that it was a revolting, obscene, disgusting cold blooded murder. I hope I'm not getting that wrong.

Your assumptions are quite viable Paul.

I don't think he directed his comment to anyone in particular. We were mainly discussing the media, TV, News reporting, etc.

It looks comparable to Regent Park in Toronto, where 70% of the population there lives below the poverty line, and many of them in government housing (the projects, basically), and gang violence is rampant. Same with the intersection of Jane & Finch. I deliberately avoided York University because it's a block away from that intersection, and also has a high rate of on-campus rapes (where some dumb cops blamed the victims...)

Certain sections of most all the major cities here in the north east are equally dangerous as well. Its not the kind of places you would want to (accidentally) end up by make a wrong turn while driving in the car.

Especially at night.
