The American people haven't made any attempt, real or even half-hearted, to reform or end the electoral college or gerrymandering, so democracy was heard when Trump won. And the consensus was, "Eh, the system is too hard to change so we're good."

So I looked up a socialist party for Virginia a while back and found that they possibly had less than 10 members so what's the point? I'm currently (as in at this moment) looking at getting involved in our Green Party so hopefully I'll be able to become something other than a miserable cynic who bitches on an internet forum. I don't know what will become of this but it's better than what I'm currently doing. Also it's surprisingly difficult to find out what your national Senate district and state Senate and Representative districts are. Like, holy **** why isn't this fuck-ass easy?

Oh god damn it. I'm already rolling my eyes at their organic farming **** but at least it's in the right direction away from corporate agriculture.
