Why would I bother including "except for uber-response teams of course!" when it didn't affect my point? English beat cops don't carry guns. All that matters about the discussion at hand.

You said "They don't even have guns in Europe", not "most of the cops aren't even armed", which would have been a truer statement. I honestly didn't think you or anyone outside of the US knew about that.

Anyway, I don't care; just don't insinuate I'm some sort of jewellery that would dangle around someone'e neck!
