I'd say a few, but those that hate Trump are going to be annoyed by the reaction from his supporters, and those on the fence are going to be split down the middle like they always were. If Trump were less polarizing then something like this might work more in his favor, but he's one of those people where the people who will support him already are.

As far as I'm concerned Mitt Romney might have been the best president we'd had in years. Still an insider, still wishy washy, and almost certainly corrupt (who isn't?), but I can't think of another candidate in recent memory who had a real chance of working with both parties, which is more important IMO than any other single issue right now.
There is no way he would have been able to reach across the isle to work with Democrats. I don't know why you think he would be any better than Obama's silly ass attempts to reach across the isle in his first 3 years.

That is so not true, Romneycare uses a single payer tax system the same thing that Obama was pushing for but it ended up getting ripped to shreds by the Republicans because they didn't want to compromise. ACA is a horrible abomination of what it was initially intended to be. What's left over is some messy healthcare act that the Republicans can spit in Obama's face and say doesn't work and is horrible when they were the ones pushing to dismantle the way that it should have been.

Because Romney actually succeeded in Massachusetts? And lol at the idea that Obama actually tried to reach across the aisle. As soon as he was elected I was watching to see if he would do anything to connect with republicans, and at the very first opportunity he made what was essentially a campaign speech about how the republicans were wrecking whatever it was he was trying to do.

Regardless of what you think of the republicans, Obama didn't even try. Plain and simple, he never went off campaign mode until it was too late... assuming it wasn't already too late when a black man was elected president.

What do you mean Obama didn't even try? Did you not see the first three years of his presidency. He didn't get jack shit done because he was too busy trying to reach across the isle and compromise. If a Republican was voted in, they would give zero fucks with the democrats think and would just push their agenda/policies forward while the iron is hot.

You say that like it's bad for republicans to push their ideas through.

The GOP strategy was made clear from day 1 of Obama's first term.

No that is not what I saw. I saw him making public statements almost as soon as he came to office saying the exact same things about the Republicans that he had while campaigning. He ran his presidency like he was already running for the next election.

Oh please, if the guy in the white house is on the opposite side of the political spectrum from the guys in congress, they always make it hard. That's not just Obama, that's every president ever.

Republican Party has become a comedy party. They were always stupid but their stupidity has gone way up. now many Conservatives are coming out of closest. Most American Conservatives are 100 percent homosexual. Not Bisexual. No. I mean pure HOMOSEXUALS.
