And there are homeless people who don't work, yet they're not considered unemployed.

You should've known that.

But it's not one trivial thing. It's the whole higher education industry. It's massive, and millions of people are employed by it. It's not about education for the vast majority of people going to college. It's about giving people something to do. As a professor, I estimate only about 5% of my students belong at university, the engineering, chemistry, and education majors, basically. Everyone else is there because they are expected to be, because they have to fulfill some requirement on a job application. It's all part of the game, it's all part of the illusion, it's all part of the racket.

Just to go into this a little further (expect smutty joke from Batty) isn't it typical that the Dems heard - must have heard - on the campaign trail one clear message: we want change, and in response to that put up for election the most obvious icon of the old guard, the one who represented most what everyone said they were sick of having? Clinton's campaign slogan should really have been "Vote for business as usual." I don't get it. Bernie sounded like he would at least have had a better chance against Trump and yet they went for the ex-First Lady? And where was Billy gonna figure in all of this, did anyone wonder, had she made it to the White House??
