People were saying they would leave the U.S if Bush/Obama got elected/re-elected and it didn't happen in any noticeable sense.

Same thing will happen if Trump wins. A lot of anger and disbelief at first, but people will realize their livelihood is still better than going through the legal effort of becoming a citizen in another country.

To sum it up, people will learn to deal with it, just like they have with every other controversial president that we've had.
