The word "rape" might not been used, by from context you can extrapolate that it was 1). a violation, it was seen as 2.) outrageous, and it was also 3.) "not done in Israel" -- meaning it was not legal.
Samuel is the same book of the Bible where David rapes Bathsheba and has her husband murdered so he can take her as one of his wives. Following your logic, that means that is completely morally sound since he did so unopposed.

Don't worry. Have faith and God will get you through this.

I guess quoting Wikipedia somewhat proves I am not a Bible scholar.

Neo, care to respond to this?

Quote:
They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings – Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba – died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. “Why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. “These are the very ones who followed Balaam’s advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD’s people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

EXO WARNING

Guys, this thread is starting to become increasingly difficult to moderate. If you guys want this thread to stay open, which it should because I feel like it's a great thread which has been very active, then you guys need to think before you post. Stop trying to push the threshold further and further because all that is going to accomplish is getting this thread closed because you don't have self control.

Example, Bats, stop making posts that state that Jesus f*cked Mary in the bum. That post was only made as a joke to push the limits of what can be said and just not necessary.

Cool? Exo warning over.

I wonder which part god disapproved of, since his punishment was murdering two of David's children and having a third publicly rape ten of David's concubines.
