But often with many Conservative Christians, they often want you to believe that those are poor are always bad and rotten pigs. Also that they say that we should not really focus on poor people at all.

The Sunday mass has a three year cycle, A,B,& C.
The readings are read from a lectionary.

Religious orders have the Liturgy of the Hours, Prayers which consists of Psalms and hymns, which are said regularly. They aresaid eight times during the day @ 3, 6, 9, 12 both AM & PM, or basically every three hours. I am not sure how many of them a religious should say to fullfil their obligation. The mass and the Liturgy of the Hours make the public prayer life. They are said every hour, everyday around the world.

Thanks! So are these cycles just something that evolved over the centuries or was there some specific time they were set in motion?
