the stories into literal translations
of hierarchies and power, well... Well,
you end up with this. People are losing
faith because they don't see how what
you've turned the religion into applies
to them! They've lost touch with any
idea of any kind of religion, and when
they have no mythology to try and live
their lives by, well, they just start
spewing a bunch of crap out of their
mouths!

I don't need the bible to build my morals, there are a great number of things that can fulfill that role. Cool thing is that I don't have to tithe.

Yes. But your not everyone. There's a reason so many people become born again christians. They need something to instill those morals in them. Without it, they'd be lost and continue in the negative direction there life was going.

The bible is supposed to help. It has no negative morals. All people have one. I'd rather entrust myself to the bible then someone else for guidance.
