Though I don't agree with your ideas, I respect the way you have held your ground in this thread.

Thank you! We went on a date for our 19th anniversary today and spent the time together sharing deeply as we always do.

The Bible is garbage. I was raised a Christian and never believed in it (catholic, protestant, Baptist, luthern, non denominational all sorts of bull****!). Living in the U.S. the only way to rule this nation is if you believe in a make believe God. Sorry I know most folks are a bit sensitive to fairy tales. I guess I should be sensitive to other peoples bull**** ideas.

The irony of coming into a Christianity thread to bash Christianity is mind boggling.

The only objection I have to this is that people who are medically defined as retarded are not necessarily stupid enough to buy into Christianity.

The bashing of the cult known as Christianity has been going on since Page 1. Don''t try get all sacrilegious all of a sudden.

If being a Christian gets you through the day and you are a good person deep down inside then then good for you.

If you hide behind Christianity as means to explain your homophobia or intolerance, then **** you.

If you use Christianity as a crutch to prop up an inherently bad person, then **** you.

If you use Christianity for profit, **** you.

If you use Christianity to look down on others or chastise them for "not believing", **** you.

If you knock on my door on a Sunday morning trying to persuade me into joining your flock of sheep, **** you.

If you are a Christian and refuse to accept that your religion has been responsible for untold numbers of torture and death in the name of your God, **** you.

If you are a Christian and refuse to accept that all of the other religions of the world are just a valid and important as yours, **** you.

If you are a blind Christian who refuses to accept hard scientific fact that refutes the words of the Bible, then **** you.

^my initial post was meant as a joke. I could care less about Christianity. A person's choice of religion doesn't change the kind of person they are, unless they're an extremist. Religion as a whole is a sham in my own opinion, but I'd never tell someone that they're wrong for believing what they believe, I'll only joke about it.
