Don't be so obtuse. All he had to do is re-open the investigation and not make it public, like his BOSS advised him to do, and was the PROTOCOL of the agencies he works for. It reeks of political motive dude. If you can't accept that based on how it's blown up then you're just in denial.

You are pissed that it went public because your a pom pom cheerleader for Hillary Clinton, if it was Trump you would be praising Comey right now, bottom line.
No, the FBI is pissed, the Department of Justice is pissed, a bunch of politicians, including some GOP members, are pissed, a bunch of political commentators are pissed, and ya, Clinton backers (quit with the juvenile pom pom ****) are also pissed.

And if it had been done to Trump the same number of agencies, news outlets, politicians, and Trump backers would be pissed because it was the wrong thing to do.

You say it's both politically motivated and covering his own ass. Which one? One would seem to be reason enough, so why both?

Again, you are pissed because your a pom pom cheerleader for Hillary Clinton. You would be in ecstasy right now if it was Trump under a criminal probe, because you are unable of taking off your partisan hat. Comey made a bad decision, most likely because of the pressure of having to relaunch an investigation into Hillary on the crusp of a Presidential election, not because as you say, he is a Republican.

All that matters now is that the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton is completed without outside political interference. If she is innocent she will be cleared of any wrongdoing unless further evidence arises. She put herself in this situation, and therefore she has to take responsibility for the fallout.

Politically motivated to cover his ass. The GOP is already pissed at him because he chose to not bring any charges during the first investigation. If they would have found out that he'd re-opened the investigation and withheld the info from the public, instead of getting it out there as a last minute hail Mary in an effort to damage Clinton, the GOP would have burned him at the stake after the election.

This way the GOP can't point fingers at Comey if she wins. They'll still be sore at him for not pressing charges the first time but that's been old news for a while now.

Don't act like a child just because you know your argument is ****ing stupid.

Quote:
Donald Trump's oft-repeated claim that the FBI's investigation of "Crooked Hillary" and the presidential election itself were and are "rigged," seems to have thrown FBI Director James Comey into a state of panic. In foolishly making a public announcement that the bureau is reviewing newly discovered emails related to Hillary Clinton's personal server, he has inserted himself yet again into the presidential campaign.

The FBI virtually never announces the commencement or termination of ongoing criminal investigations or the discovery of new evidence. Such inquiries are often conducted in relative secrecy, enabling a more efficient investigation.

It is not unusual for investigations in so-called "white collar" cases to go on for years, luring the target into an unfounded belief that he or she is in the clear. Then the hammer falls. A grand jury indictment is announced by the Department of Justice and the handcuffs are swiftly employed.

The old, sensible FBI rule book apparently has been thrown on the trash heap this year. While undoubtedly attempting to be open and "transparent," to protect the reputation of the FBI, the FBI director has tossed a Molotov cocktail into the presidential race. - legal analyst Paul Callan

So why call him a Republican?
