TPP is the only thing I think he's liberal on, and he only opposes it out of contrarianism.

Bernie would have mopped the floor with him.

Well, looks like my son is going to lose his much needed health insurance. And I see that Vladimir Putin has already gone public praising Trump's victory.

I'm absolutely stunned this morning. I was too drunk to fully feel it late last night but it's totally set in now. A GOP trifecta is beyond terrifying. Roe v Wade, Social Security, women's rights, fair taxes, our political standing with our allies, our own economy, and the Separation of Church and State are all in major jeopardy as we move forward.

These past few weeks I've lost all faith in the American Justice System. And as of today I think I've lost all faith in the common sense of the American people.

My rational brain is horrified by this, but the desensitized cynic in me is laughing his ass off. This cunt of a country has just made its own bed and deserves to lie in it. If the right ends up regretting their decision to vote for this clown then whatever but in the meantime they get to bathe in this **** right along with everyone they've forced it upon, and this pleases me. I now get to sit back and watch in antisocial amusement as the human race self-destructs, contemptuous of the ignorant masses who would vote for "The Donald".

And people wonder why I could give a **** about voting? Maybe it's cause the people I share this country with aren't worth the effort.

This sums up when I was trying to get at last night Trump Won Because Leftist Political Correctness Inspired a Terrifying Backlash - Hit & Run : Reason.com

Obviously it isn't the only reason, but I think it's a fair point and I stand by it.

I don't deny that it's what pushed a lot of people to vote for Trump. However, the fact that it's basically an imaginary monster still stands.

Let's put it this way, I'm already sipping my first R+C of the day to calm the shakes. Clinton with her cracker jack campaign and all its money lost focus on the people who ultimately brought her down. She won all of the districts she was suppose to win but lost in just enough of the rural areas to flip the swing states.

There's an entire psychological phenomenon where if you make two groups out of people, then divide them on issues that are dripping with emotional baggage, you polarize both sides. This has been happening for years, and it's why we have both privileged college students protesting about cafeteria sushi on their campuses and why an openly racist, ableist, sexist oopma loompa with a cheese danish for hair was elected to represent you.

I haven't been this disappointed since Stephen Harper got the majority the first year I was able to vote.
