If Hitler, the military leaders of Imperial Japan, Timothy McVeigh, and that ****ing cow were still alive and a threat then yeah. Plenty of Islamists still alive though. Not that I'm terrified of Islam though, but you asked.

Sure, but I'm not going to stop living my life because of it. I could wake up tomorrow to news that some major nuclear plant in the midwest is having a meltdown or that China decided to launch a drone strike on California.

The bans aside, my guess is Trump wants to gradually cut the U.S. off from Saudi Arabia but can't currently. That would be a good step in the right direction on the issue.

It took me a second but I know about the Great Chicago Fire.

Saudi Arabia would be a wise country to ban immigration from because they legit sponsor terrorism. Americans haven't had many problems (or even that many immigrants) from the six countries that he banned so it just looks like more dickswinging to me.

Not generally, but false flag operations are a thing, and 9/11 is sketchy AF. It's been over 10 years since I was really into it so my brains a little fuzzy, but let's just say the some very powerful people had a hell of a lot to gain and I wouldn't put it past them to trade a few thousand lives to make a ton of money, power, and resources.

The motives are there for people to connect the dots but the evidence runs with the official story.

The only thing that can stop a terrorist organization with a refugee is a government with a refugee.

DwnWthVwls 01-28-2017 01:26 PM

I'm not making a claim for one side or the other, and I'm not derailing this thread to discuss it, but lol at official story.. more like alternative facts. Bottom line is idk and neither do you, and while you choose to accept the official story I am not 100% convinced and will remain skeptical. It doesn't have any affect on how I go about things, my view on the government, etc.. it's just something I question the validity of.

Frownland 01-28-2017 01:29 PM

I think a lot of the alternative facts come from the half truths of the conspiracy theorists. So much of the skepticism is built on evidence that has been proven again and again to be misleading or untrue. You ever read the popular mechanics book or issue about 9/11 conspiracies?
