Assistant Secretary of State for Administration Joyce Anne Barr, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Michele Bond and Ambassador Gentry O. Smith, director of the Office of Foreign Missions, followed him out the door. All are career foreign service officers who have served under both Republican and Democratic administrations.

It hasn't been a full week. This is getting intense so fast.

I hope everyone can fully appreciate how much more dangerous this makes Rex. With logical minds and institutional knowledge gone and the department being handed to someone with little diplomatic experience, I can imagine any number of explosive situations occurring. With as little hyperbole as I can muster, this is truly and utterly terrifying.

I really hope it isn't the death of the GOP. As much as I generally disagree with Republicans, I can't help shake this feeling that a multi party system could be beneficial. It just sucks that the GOP has had its head up its ass for so long.

You genuinely don't see any similarity between not serving homosexuals and not serving another race?
