Because that's the path it took and because Bush is evil.

What do you think it suggests?

What I'd like to know is why you are so vehemently against questioning authority? Isn't it a necessary evil to keep them in check?

Even if you think my views are completely ridiculous, it's good to make the government explain themselves and not blindly accept their word.. it's kind of like a shitty example of an appeal to authority fallacy.

Having researched this particular instance quite a bit, I don't think that it's particularly valid. It's obviously important to be skeptical but that doesn't mean that every case requires denialist levels of skepticism (you know, given the evidence at hand).

They did. So did many non-governmental organizations.

You do understand that the reasons i gave for my skepticism would hold up in our justice system as an acceptable motive?

It's the exact reason why I'm giving you so much ****.

On a side note, I had to fly to NYC (LaGuardia) right after they lifted the ban to meet with a customer. The Twin Tower site was still smoldering. Every time one of the pilots had to leave the cockpit to use the john the flight attendants would block the front of the aisle with the drink cart. Was a whole new reality.

So you think acknowledging motives are a bad thing when seeking truth/justice?
