Ki, ya, a lot of us predicted doom and gloom but none of us could articulate exactly how it was going to play out. Now that we're getting the day to day, play by play, we're just reacting to the actual details of the doom and gloom.
Step aside if you're not detail oriented. |

But yeah, it's probably one of many things they were going to sneak in with TPP so it wouldn't get as much attention. And as scary is the bill may sound it's probably going to be used mainly for advertising reasons. |
One thing that keeps this thread so active is that with Trump, the scandals are just queueing up to be mentioned. Not the most dramatic, but certainly one that highlights his arrogance and hypocrisy is the one about his and Obama's downtime.
Trump famously criticized Obama's visits to the golf course and promised that he (Trump) would work harder if elected. But what's the score card so far? Obama's golf games after 72 days in office: 0 Trump's ditto: 14 Other stats I've seen are that Trump has spent about one-third of his days in office, not in office but elsewhere - and every time it's to a Trump-owned club or hotel, that's free publicity for some Trump enterprise. Free to his businesses, that is, because the American tax-payer is footing the bill. Did anyone read about how Mar-a-Lago has doubled its membership fees since Trump took office? Isn't it galling that M-a-L is thriving because of publicity provided at public expense? Trump has called the place "the Winter White House," as if giving it a kind of quasi-official status, while the actual official weekend escape house, Camp David, stands empty. Does Trump worry that he is thus doubling up expenses for an out-of-town weekend? Presumably not because once again, the tax-payer is paying for it. I understand that Ki feels over-exposed to all this anti-Trump rhetoric, but how else to draw attention to Trump's seemingly endless abuses of his position? I think it's important that journalists maintain their sense of outrage in the face of conduct which is, imo, outrageous:- From 22 March this year:- Donald Trump: America's Marie Antoinette (opinion) - CNN.com And from today:- .......... |
EDIT: Ooops should have watched that video before posting Lisn.
Speaking of Melania, it's costing the US taxpayers $136,500 a day to protect her and Baron so that they can live in NYC instead of The White House. And that cost goes up to well over $300,000 a day when daddy visits. $136.5K a day is about $50 million a year. We signed up for footing the bill for the first family to live in the White House. The extra $50 million should be coming out of Trump's pockets don't you think? |

What is the play by play on that one, Deep Throat? |

Anyway, I'm correcting this statistic in hopes that my post will now fits the facts better - or have I screwed up somewhere else too? Obama's golf games after 72 days in office: 0 Trump's ditto: 14 |

Obama's were nothing but pure entertainment and an escape from politics. Or maybe not. That's John Boehner in case you don't recognize him. http://a.abcnews.com/images/Politics...0618_wmain.jpg |
Unless golfing is causing him to not do his job i really dgaf. And since none of us know, this is the dumbest ****ing attack i have ever seen on Obama and trump. You can only sign and read so many things before you have to wait for all the paperwork to go through the proper channels. Its not like he's golfing during a state of emergency. Seriously more bs to distract from issues that are important and the sheeple continuously eat it up. Gotta love drama, it protects us from having to cope and be adults. Theres nothing quite like creating solvable problems out of nothing to boost your ego with a sense of accomplishment.
