In a new interview, President Trump said that he would take information offered by a foreign government about a political opponent. The statement brought immediate howls of outrage from Democrats. Paula Reid reports.

If a candidate does something ****ty overseas and another candidate gets wind of it through foreign contacts of course they should use it

Other countries absolutely have a right to weigh in on our election

Many foreign heads of state expressed misgivings about Trump during the campaign. That’s their prerogative. In fact, a candidate’s international standing is very important.

And are other countries going to troll social media? **** yes. There’s nothing we can do about it except start censoring the internet.

What's weirder to me is this public perception by supposedly educated people that foreign powers have "never interfered" in any of our past elections before 2016.

Frownland 06-13-2019 08:48 AM

Foreign governments interfering with democratic elections is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated

I love the whole "Yeah, well they did it too!" argument. Of course that sh*t happened. Don't you want this bullsh*t to stop?

It was just a blanket statement for political bullsh*t.

I just hate bullsh*t. Sometimes sh*tty decisions have to be made that politicians are held responsible for. Military decisions or budget cuts to important functions or whatever. That isn't bullsh*t. The bullsh*t I'm thinking of is the unnecessary drama filled nonsense that puts real people at risk only to benefit one man or a small group of people. Trump dishes out this kind of bullsh*t year round and I'm tired of it.
