The fact that Biden is competitive in Texas right now and actually ahead in swing states is a testament to the extent to which a Biden vote is just an anti Trump vote. Biden needs to hide in his basement till the election like Trump whined about during that interview and let all the heat fall on Trump.

You have this weird idea in your head that if Texas flips blue Ft. Worth is going to become a punk mecca or something. I see it getting more purple, but there are a lot of Hispanics in north Texas who vote red. Biden is going to win unless California and New York flip red, which we know will never happen.

He likes Austin and thinks the rest of the state will become just like it if there's a political climate shift, but I just don't see it happening as someone who deals with a lot of different people up here for business.

California is more like a big blue blob with red polkadots, but neoliberalism is so deeply rooted there that Biden should win in a landslide.
