I’m against people with intellects so small that they somehow think it’s relevant and/or clever to find an apparent contradiction in what another person believes. I can and do support several ideas that seem to be at odds with each other because the world is complicated and I understand that slavishly adhering to idealistic political or philosophical ideologies makes a person a simpleton. It’s not about winning an argument with someone who still thinks they’re on the high school debate team. It’s about people living lives with hope and dignity.

I wouldn’t have even bother responding but I thought it was ant and not dwv.

If you want to explain what property is theft really means have at it.

I like private property. It means there are consequences if someone decides to **** with it. Human beings don't have a great track record with respecting property, objects, facilities, etc. that are open to public use.

Ive found that the state and national parks I’ve been to are really well cared for.

Although I don’t think Ant supports being able to destroy wetlands just because some of it is own your property.

The thing is Ant, everyone should have a say in how the earth is treated not just the people the government claims owns it. We all have a stake in the well-being of our environment. But again, I don’t think you disagree with that. I think your beliefs are too often mischaracterized on here.

the parks here are great, and the public works mandate means you get to look at Art instead of Bud Lite billboards

Five years ago we had a state park that allowed you to camp about half a mile from the beach but they closed it and are putting condos there now and another that’s on a river has allowed drilling and tree theft for whatever kind of industry. Places where I could walk in solitude have heavy machinery on it and they built a for profit prison right next to it. It’s still a nice park but they keep chipping away at it essentially turning ownership of it to industries that make contracts with the corrupt government. The industry owns the government, essentially. They just keep chipping away at it.
