One side was a hate group. The other side was made up of both men and women, blacks, Asians , Hispanics, and whites. And from all political parties.

The only thing they were united in is protesting against the outsiders who invaded their city to sprew hate and intimidate the locals.

I guess there is going to be this MOAR march for Trump on Washington along with an Antifa protest of it on the same day the juggalos march against the gang label.

Anyone catch the peaceful candlelight march tonight that traced the same route that the White Supremacists did last Friday night? Once they all gathered en masse and started singing songs while arm and arm and swaying it brought tears to my eyes. All ages and all races united to clean up the stains that were left over from last Friday.

Awesome. A little bit of faith renewed.

Back when I still was a Christian I had to spend a few days at a seminar up in Anaheim, CA. One night I decided to take a walk to see the Crystal Cathedral. Seeing it up close made me sick and angry. The opulance, the excess, the gaudiness, the arrogance, the waste of millions and millions of donated dollars that could have gone to help those who are truly in need.

Actually one of the first events that drove me away.
