Doesn't facebook have settings that severely restrict what can and can't be viewed? My one friend told me she had her's set so you can't even search for her or whatever. Doesn't seem too risky if that's the case.

I use most (if not all) of the restrictions - except I make music-related posts public because they're not necessarily personal in a way that could be compromised. Besides, over half of the people I talk to on a daily basis I've never actually met face to face - and others I work with. The people I don't want to talk to, nor have anything to do with, don't have contact with me at all. I think I have a massive "block" list at this point just because of all the losers I've cut out of my life. :laughing:

His opinions certainly aren't worth rolling your eyes at even if you disagree with him. You're just proving my point that you get unnecessarily defensive when people disagree with you in general.

Thats pretty cruel. Jen is a total sweetheart. Shes a great gal and is about as normal as they come. I have never seen her be cruel to another person on the site even once. She can't even go in a thread without getting attacked by people any longer which is sad because she actually enjoys conversing with people and while shes opinionated, aren't we all. I think you might examine what you've wrote and find out that it certainly goes both ways. I hope she remains and keeps posting because shes a really genuine kind person and she posts content in the pop section that i'm sure more then her enjoys. I'm not much of a pop person myself, but I know a very nice person when i've met one.

Fred, I agree with you here. Jen is a total sweetiepie and Jess is also so it kinda took me back to read this because I have yet to see an unkind word (that wasn't warranted) come out of Jess's mouth. I really think it is a case of not knowing her at all. I think if they actually had a conversation I think Jess's opinion would change as she is always good about owning up to her mistakes.

Really folks, Soulflower (aka RT92) is a sweetie pants. I think she feels alot of times like she is left out on the forum as alot of the humor on her is Caucasian based. I understand what it's like to feel like you can't relate with a community because of your skin tone. And that is something that comes from within the confidence to understand that just because you are a certain color doesn't make you less than, or better than. I honestly hate when people get on her case and I don't want to loose her as a poster.

Edit: Also there was a comment made about Vanilla and Ladyislingering that I want to comment on... I forget who said what about Vanilla but it was along the lines of drama follows her wherever she goes. That is crap! I just want to put that lame duck comment out of it's misery. I think that alot of times she is unfairly vilified and there for it looks like it follows her. But to say that is complete garbage. The girl works her ass off in school/ work and has an illness that keeps her in bed alot of times, so to say that and attack her is weak. She is a bubbly sweet woman with a good head on her shoulders and I am proud to call her my friend and my favorite blonde in the known universe.

Well, since we're on the Soulflower love train I'll throw my two cents in too. I think she's pretty groovy. She's passionate about music and that's mostly what she talks about. This place could use more of that.

I don't see why you have to judge Vanilla. That's how she feels, and I can understand where she is coming form. I put realtalk/Soulflower on the ignore list awhile back after one of her rants.

He didn't judge Vanilla babe, he pointed out her statement was harsh.
