Chula Vista seems like a decent fellow who's established himself well.
|
I like the new guys a lot (you know who you are) and I hope they continue their contributions because it's really refreshing to see new members that make an effort, and seem to have something to offer.

(I realized recently I'm old enough to be your grandfather. That's a bit of a trip to say the least.) |

All of our new active members have seemed to establish themselves very quickly. I have been enjoying all of their new posts. I'm glad some inactive members returned as well, Ki and Pet Sounds.

I feel the same about the new members as well, definitely a cool bunch of people, as well as the other regulars. |
I think it's a great lot right now. We also have no dramas (touch wood) and although many members are missing it still is a cool place to hang out!

Blarobbarg and James are two more guys who have reappeared. Good to see both of them around.
|
Thanks man! My posting kind of comes and goes during term time depending on work load, in an ideal world I'd be able to post a lot more.

Haven't done one in a little while:
DwnWthVwls: Super cool guy, love finding him in the forums and talking to him, same goes for Pet Sounds and Whatever Dude. I can see myself sitting in a club or bar and just having a few beers and talking to these guys. Very laid back. The Batlord: Still one of my favorite members here, along with Trollheart. Both have a great sense of humor and discussing music with them is always a good time. Always looking for bands they are discussing because 99% of the time, it's good ****. Chula Vista: This guy is awesome. He came out of nowhere and instantly fit in with the rest of the people here. Very nice to see people coming here and just straight up chilling with the rest of us, it makes for good and easy conversation. Also very laid back and knows his music. Neapolitan: It takes a while, but you've got a pretty good sense of humor. As well as Janszoon. Both guys know a thing or two about when to pull a silly or properly placed one liner and make it work. Briks: I talk to you every now and again, but I enjoy your posts fully, and always look forward to hearing from you on a variety of topics. I hope I didn't forget anyone, but I probably did. I may edit if I remember some people to include. |

Have we always had so many rockist dullards or have they just become more vocal this week?

What do people think of Soulflower? I think she is sweet and a lovely person, as I have spoken to her a lot in plug. But I get the idea that people dislike her on here. Try to be honest, but I don't want to see insults, as its not necessary.
|
She seems fine to me. I don't understand her unrelenting passion for silly arguments though.
|
Seems like a nice, passionate person. Needs new material.
|
She's a gem. I like her a lot.

Gee whiz ki.... hmm. sounds like a good name for a band. Geewhiszkee. |
To me, Soulflower comes across as a very sweet person, albeit a bit bullheaded in debate. I've never had a problem with her. At least she talks about music.

It's pretty easy since this place freaking rocks. The perfect balance of demented humor, sexual innuendo, straight up serious music talk, demented humor, sexual innuendo, awesome music reviews, demented humor, sexual innuendo, a wide range of ages and musical tastes, demented humor, sexual innuendo, and.... uhm..... I forgot my point. |
So you're basically a demented sexual deviant who loves music. Welcome to MB! I've enjoyed your contributions thus far.
The past couple months have really been very nice between the complete lack of drama and great new members. |
Blarobbarg: Given what a goody two shoes he is, how religious he is, and how artsy he is, I'd normally think that while Blarobbarg was one of the nicest people I'd come into contact, he was also kinda boring. (He gets excited over squash pie, for god's sake!) Then I remember that he spent like a year living in what I assume is one of the poorest areas of Nicaragua as a missionary when he was barely legal, and I'm like, "Okay, somehow, someway, he's probably one of the least boring people I've come into contact with." Not entirely sure how that works.
