He is the man!! That's who...
|
It's actually kind of impressive that he has that many posts yet I have absolutely no clue who he is. Like where do you even spend all your time??
|
Fred, unlike myself and other music banter members actually does adventurous things with his life instead of sits in front of the computer like a weirdo... ( I know I am weirdo alright, shut up!)

I like the members here who have a sense of humour. Not naming anyone, but some people just seem like massive musical snobs and don't seem to have much else going for them.

I spent 6 years in the Army and got out honorable. Even then, I don't have the balls to even entertain enlisting in the Marines. Ask DJ if he does. Quote:

Army and Marines is for suckers. Army is for losers that can't score high enough on their ASVAB. |

Also, if we're pulling cocks out here, please do remind me how your short-lived "military" experience has impacted your life. I don't think you want to ask me that same question for comparison in terms of career and financial success outside the military... But share what you got. We'll measure. Arrrggg. P.S.. Do you think you've scored better on your ASVAB than people in Army military intelligence? What about Army satellite operators/maintainers? Army IT? What did you go for in the Navy that commanded such a high ASVAB score? Do tell. |

I don't understand any of it, but there looks to be some sort of inter-services punchup brewing.... and all because I said DJ was a marine, which I did not know for sure. But hey, what do I know? The best the Irish Army can boast is being part of the UN Peacekeeping forces and the best the Irish Navy can offer is watching out for Spanish trawlers stealing our fish, and the Irish Air Force (guffaw!) is ok for airshows and overflies at the St Patrick's Day Parade, but that's about it. We are the original toy soldiers! https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/i...c8CAgCMOXwlmy1 (And yes, I'm aware they're all green. Begorrah!) |

Marines got called Jugheads by me and they would return with Squid and whatever homophobic slur came to their minds and then there is the lovely Chairforce. Also according to Freebase's earlier analysis being in the service for three years and getting hurt is considered dropping out. That's how long I was in the Navy. |

But I think there's another tradition that states if you can't complete your own military service, you can't make fun of anyone else's. If not, there should be. |
