To the "GREATEST TROLL OF ALL TIME" post:

Aside from the misprounciation and the use of the term Reggae, I'd say that this troll is an accurate review of OF.

supermarlin 06-27-2011 05:39 PM

Didn't change the fact it was absolutely hilarious how quickly people blew up in the comment section.

Sparky 07-10-2011 01:34 PM

yes.

supermarlin 07-12-2011 08:01 PM

Loving that song.

DoctorSoft 07-14-2011 06:17 PM

^^ Hella ill, loving it.

djchameleon 07-18-2011 09:42 AM

I don' t know who this kid is but he's got an alright beat to diss Tyler with.

Honestly, this track is so so, he has a few lines here and there that are funny but some of it is just simplistic garbage.

Starting beef to ride off of Tyler's fame pretty much.

Antonio 07-18-2011 04:49 PM

kinda meh, dude's REALLY biting off early Eminem with that. that and there's very little change. i agree that there was one or two lines that made me chuckle, but mostly forgettable

also, his Tyler the Creator getup with the ears looks like that yellow rapist dude from Sin City

Unrelenting 07-18-2011 07:58 PM

Can't deny, dude had a decent flow

Antonio 07-18-2011 09:20 PM

the flow was static and got old fast for me.

Why's he repeating lines from 'Yonkers'?

Sparky 07-18-2011 10:02 PM

yeah his whole verse was pretty underwhelming, "pharell said get em so i got em"

But his distinct monotone and delivery make it enjoyable enough to listen to

Amen. Maybe i'm just stubborn but i really didn't hear anything impressive in that track. It wasn't even a full Tyler diss. But yeah, bit Em maaaaajorly.

Bane of your existence 07-21-2011 07:12 PM

Tyler, the Creator gets sonned

I dig it.

Dirty 07-21-2011 07:54 PM

That...was pretty sick.

Thumbs up.

Sparky 07-22-2011 01:25 AM

this seems like a kid i'd see on nickelodean or something

Kirby 07-22-2011 01:41 AM

Hopsin's dope.

Yonkers was doper than that, though.

Oh, whoops.

As far as the song goes, it's a dope diss track. But at the same time, I'm like who the fuck is Hopspin to be criticizing Odd Future? He's guilty of everything negative he attributes to them.

Surell 07-22-2011 10:42 AM

He's black Eminem. Period. Yonkers and at least half of Goblin was sicker than this track. This really ain't sick enough to try and make 4 bars dissing Tyler with no basis. Plus, this track isn't trying anything new.

But i'ma dickrider anyway.

Song was sick. Nice beat, great flow, a lot of great lines. I'm not seeing the garbage or poor flow or loads of throwaway lines like everyone else here, but then again I'm not hanging from Tyler's nuts.

I don't consider it a diss track, just an ill rhyme with a few lines about tyler. I'm gonna have to check more of this dude

I bet you hang from Eminem's nuts though.

know you niggas wish you could prevent it
Cause I get buck like my Kool Aid's got way too much sugar in it
You better run like I'm booger flicking
Homie I've been good at rapping, now I'm tryna get gooder with it
So I'mma just go beast, and bring that West coast heat
Cause I'll be damned if you flex on me
The radio is filled with garbage over techno beats
And all these songs about cash are what we just don't need
Yo, nobody care about how much money you stack
I murder everything I touch, buddy, move back
Got enough guts to sew trash and bust up your fluke act

This part was super chidish to me. Grow up and do some real drugs, talking about kool aid plz

He used one line, you're being silly. It was a reference to his biggest track, and they (Pusha and Tyler both) rap about it (Yonkers) a little bit more if you listen for a couple more bars...

I didn't like that set of lines either. Weak part of the song.

Not even close

Surell 07-22-2011 12:56 PM

The whole song's weak, he might as well have been biting Tyler too. That whole beginning i thought he was trying to make fun of him but it turns it he's just biting Tyler's whole rags to bitches story. You probably only like the song because it's dissing Tyler while trying to "save Hip Hop" but i've heard Soulja Boi put out better shit than this.

Yeah cause Tyler was the first guy to ever rap about it, right?

Surell 07-22-2011 01:01 PM

No, but how are you gonna diss somebody for the Exact Same Thing you're rapping about? Plus, half the song was him boasting about how hot he is and how everyone else is whack. Yeah, realllll sick.

DoctorSoft 07-22-2011 01:10 PM

I thought the Tyler diss was just alright but I checked out some more from this dude and this song is sick as hell:

Any braggadocios rap sucks then?? It's been a staple of hip hop forever. If you can drop good lines and metaphors there's nothing wrong with it. Not everyone wants to hear monotone horrorcore rhymes.

I never understood people who say rappers bite styles. You listen to people, they influence you.

Surell 07-22-2011 01:18 PM

Alright, that was pretty smooth. Still reminds me of Em, but yeah, pretty tight.

Dirty, influence has it's limits; there's a point where you're just taking someone's styles and not even trying to make it your own, it's still them through and through. Not everyone wants to hear Eminem through every troubled ass kid who picks up a microphone and some production software. Tyler and Earl are influenced by Em, but do their delivery, flow, or lyrical style sound like him? No. Does Hopsin's delivery, flow, and style sound like Em? Almost as if he copied it. Yuck sound a lot like Dinosaur Jr. in their guitar style and songwriting, but does it sound like they just took Mascis' and Barlow's exact style and ran with it? No. There's still some distinction.

I'm not gonna listen to a rapper whose whole point of rapping is to brag. It's useless, it's like listening to love songs all the time. Turn good lines and metaphors into something abstract, or storytelling, or revealing, not the same old bull**** over and over and over.

i know you like lil wayne man!

But yeah can't get into this either. Has that same junior-psycho vibe that makes tech9 appealing to so many people, just minus any interesting wordplay tech has.

HA HAAAAA! True this, but i haven't been listening to him as much recently. In fact, the last mixtape or anything i got by him was No Ceilings. But I am anxiously awaiting the Carter IV, of course. Still, I think Wayne is way sicker/iller/better than this cat.

Speaking of this, I desperately need to listen to Tech9.

.

I dig the track "rolling" from his latest tape. He's just good at sounding cool without saying anything which is a really good skill i feel like

worst cover art ever yuck

Jester 07-24-2011 11:27 AM

Hopsin's just trying to feed off of some of Tyler's hype, lol

Charlemagne 07-25-2011 12:31 AM

I really like Ace, but I have to admit that guy has some pretty great flow/rhymes, it was a very entertaining song and I'd definitely download the album.

Phantom Limb 07-25-2011 10:10 AM

Compared to tyler, he's was more coherent and his flow is way tighter. I dig it.

TheBig3 07-25-2011 10:49 AM

Someones listened to Eminem's first two albums constantly...

and Jay-Z's "takeover."

This is pretty bad.

Surell 07-26-2011 12:59 PM

Speaking of whack ass disses, anyone familiar with Super Market off of Domo's Rolling Paper? I listened to the album, wasn't anything special, but this song jumped out to me, it had me crackin up behind the wheel.
