All i know is Bob took some songs that were originally made for lupe, except that he had the fortitude to not accept them. He is a hip hop chameleon. He just blends in with the latest hotness. |

Frank Ocean is going to be featured on a track on Watch The Throne. Hell ****ing yes.
|
That's pretty exciting.

I don't know. He always sounds like some really generic ****. But it used to be more lighthearted and trying to be multiple genres unsuccessfully, now it's straight bars son |

You posted two songs from his mixtape it seems. On his mixtapes he can truly put out the material that he likes but that shit is NOT going to sell. So he has to put out different material to peddle to the masses and get radioplay. |

this is hard to listen to |

You don't have to like this song but it's not like his album sounded like this at all. It's only one track and when I heard it, I was like that's single worthy, I know he was going to make a video for it and it was going to get radioplay which it did. it seems those are the kind of songs you like from him but they were all on his official LP |

I guess my main problem with BO.B. is that everything he says just sounds wack to me :( Lupe Fiasco can put out pop singles less ****ty then this, I'm not excusing Bo.B for putting out **** music even if it is to pay the bills |

Might be my new favourite overall OFWGKTA song. The music videom is just alright, but that beat, holy ****. |
Yeah i really like it too but that last line leaves me on a bad note "im not gay but im ****ing ass" is like come on
|
That song is hectic

Everything I've heard from Hodgy sounds like Kanye's flow/style to me, he doesn't impress often beyond the feeling of decent mainstream sound. Earl's flow and rhymes are killer for sure, and could match or even defeat Tyler's overall rapping skills, but Tyler's offbeat rhyme schemes/flow and delivery just gets me. They're both definitely at least equal though, and Assmilk is testament to how great they work together and singular. Does anybody like Ali or Mike G very much? I've heard plenty about Mellohype, Earl, and Tyler, but I think Mike G's input is pretty good too, with the 90's feel and Curren$y style flow. What's the consensus on Jet Age of Tomorrow, too? |

Hodgy's rapping wasn't bad either. |
Mike G is hit and miss.
Stick Up is probably his best effort. |
Blaccfriday is a nice conceptual older feeling joint for me, performed well by everyone on it.
Btw, Novacane's getting radio play now (news to me), and i heard it the other night not knowing it was Frank Ocean and luuuuuved it! I gotta get my hands on that album. |
Jet Age of Tomorrow is some cool stuff. Mike G, hmm, I like when he features with Tyler, but I felt his album was a bit weak to be honest.

also, Jet Age of Tomorrow kicks all kinds of ass. |
I've been surprised by the stuff the rest of the odd future collective have been putting out. I was pretty sure it was just earl and tyler, but everyone is putting out interesting material. The wu-tang comparisons are more realistic now.

This one is also good
