Their songs have been sampled and used so many times that they were almost genuis but turns out that maybe they're not. I liked one of their cds--the one with Smack my Bitch up (which funny enough has a Enya remix which I'm shamed to say--isn't too bad)

I was watching Charlies Angel's full throttle last night on FX, and man- do they love Prodigy. I haven't listened to them in a long time, but I'd have to give them ups for Firestarter and Smakc my Bitch Up, because those songs are still tough and driving. Same with Chem Bros. Block Rocking Beats.

I bought Fat of the Land when I still thought the Chemical Brothers were the epitome of electronic music. No Good (Start The Dancing) is my favourite Prodigy track. Old-skool breakbeat rave, none of that happy hardcore s***. I liked 'Casanova' a lot! but I've never listened to the new album.

Genius. Words cannot describe how much I love The Prodigy. :p: I was made to listen to them loads when I was growing up. I should be thanking my parents for that now. I thought Keith Flint was really weird when I was young.

Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned is my favourite album of theirs now. I don't care if the hardcore fans think this makes me a 'poser'. :p:

They opened with Spitfire last year and I couldn't stop smiling. And Keith Flint high-fived me. I'm practically famous.

I don't think you're a poser , although I would suggest questionable taste on this issue ;)

As for Juliette Lewis , she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a recording studio , let alone a recording studio with The Prodigy in it.

And my personal opinion is AONO should have come out as a Liam Howlett solo album.

The song SERIAL THRILLA is such an adrenaline rush for me. I really disliked AONO but after a while I grew into it. There are some storming beats on there. Genius? No. However I like the fact that Howlett seems to use a rock music asthetic to his dance tunes.

joyboyo53 10-09-2007 10:38 AM

Neither. I have 2 of their albums and find them somewhat intriguing yet not really genius by any means.
