I agree. Keeps things moving along that way.

Rigmarole?

Anyway,

If there's no objections, I declare this to be our first album.

Click on the picture for the full album YouTube link. The Contact! album starts at precisely 1:06:00, (that's an hour and six minutes). The songs are moderately good quality.

I chose Contact! because the album is overshadowed due to the group's earlier album and debut album, Europop. While Eiffel 65 is a relatively known artist, this album is relatively unknown.
Unlike it's predecessor, Contact! was not NEARLY as successful internationally. The album is a marked departure from their earlier material as the band appears to be influenced by the exploding French House scene.

If anybody has already heard this, we will probably do that Replica album.

I recognized their song "Blue" because pretty much everyone has heard that song, but that's it. I'm downloading "Contact" now, I'll post my impressions using your outline pretty soon.

I think we should go through the rigmarole of recommending albums...

I think all members should plan to have their questionnaires posted here by April 9.

I understand that's plenty of time, but I'm out of town for a few days, and I thought we should give more people time to join since this thread only began two days ago.

Janszoon, I believe you will be the next to pick, and considering the unreliability of finding an album on YouTube, if you need me to buy the album you are considering, I can do so and send it to the rest of the members.

Also, YorkeDaddy, I may tweak the questionnaire so you should hold on posting it for at least a day or so.

Finding ways to get albums through other methods is a very valuable skill, my friend.

In previous music clubs on MB people have generally just found the albums on their own. Members here generally have their own preferred ways of finding music, whether it's Spotify, torrents or whatever. It's only when someone's really having trouble tracking something down that anyone needs to step in and help them out.

It's funny, YouTube is such an inconvenient way for me to listen to albums that I sometimes forget other people use it for that.
