Appreciates one of the greatest singers of all time. Kudos!

If he's referring to Streibland, he should check out some singers some time.

And yes, this is elitism at its finest.

Streibland is better than Colepain. (My attempt at a Coltrane joke...)

Should never ever joke about Coltrane again.

I take my kudos back. That joke was terrible.

Barbara Streisand is like the boring, middle-age housewife version of the Grateful Dead at their most comatose. I would rather listen to an entire Celine Dion album than one Barbara Streisand song.

Streisand was a musician, just like any other, and whether she was "good" or "bad" is simply a matter of opinion. However, I'm beginning to understand that when a person dislikes someone, it's very easy for them to see their flaws and forget their strengths. Really, any musician can be called "boring" if you examine them closely enough, and it's become the go-to insult for people who like to justify their dislike of certain types of music.
