Okay, let's say that very few people should have kids. Let's also say that no father is better than a bad father. Just for arguments sake.

First of all, what do those things actually have to do with the point you're trying to make?

Secondly, the rest of argument is broad objective claims about what you feel should be easy to see or obvious. These are your opinions, and the very things we disagree with you on. Obviously, these things aren't obvious to us. If they were, then we wouldn't be having this debate.

Your entire argument is pretty much just a big "I feel like this is true, so it must be true", and, after all, there's more to an argument than an opinion.

Oh, and to be fair, that can be interpreted in a couple different ways. I took it as "not having a father is better than having a bad one".

Maybe he can clarify what he meant, but I think that's the one.
