Just because someone's a lunatic doesn't mean they can't be lucid. My point is that he didn't seem to be in control of his own mental faculties as Bundy. If your brain is misfiring as opposed to simply being made differently but otherwise functioning according to its nature, then I find the latter to be more monstrous.

why is there never any mention of H H Holmes in these conversations?

"I was born with the devil in me. I could not help the fact that I was a murderer, no more than the poet can help the inspiration to sing — I was born with the "Evil One" standing as my sponsor beside the bed where I was ushered into the world, and he has been with me since."

H. H. Holmes' capacity for evil was really incredible. I saw a documentary on his hell house one time. Horrifying stuff.

Right?? And he kept hiring/firing people for the construction so that the actual layout of the building was only known by him.

Ted was aware of the workings of his own mind to the point where he could coherently discuss them as if he were a psychology major. He was a brilliant guy but holy shit, what the fuck... what the fuck. Something obviously went horribly wrong there.

I imagine talking to Fish or Dahmer would be a rather boring experience past the morbid curiosity aspect, but Bundy sounded like an interesting person to interact with.

or maybe he knew it was over and he wanted to get as much in as he could before being caught?

I don't remember all the details of the case, I haven't had much interest in serial killers since high school.

Ed Gein is my favorite serial killer by a long shot. Momma's boy interior decorator!

Plus he was hella handsome in that good ol' boy way.

I thought someone would never ask this question.
To be a sucessfull serial killer in the Us anyway one must realize you quite possibly will be arrested. But if the method of murder is one where intent cant be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, and intent is a grey area hire a Fan****ingtastic lawyer and laugh all the way home after your aquital.

Now I'm not saying I don't like anyone of you,Im just not above leaving a bag of lays on top of your toaster oven while its on high. Prove it wasnt a horrible absent minded mistake motha****a I dare you.
