it's kind of funny actually because my dad heard me playing some stuff by him, and now he's become obsessed and gone and bought the whole discography and got super excited when he saw that he was playing in New York City. Ah well at least I get to see him.

Slayer have now cancelled their European dates but Sonisphere is still on which means Araya will have a bit more recovery time and not so much of a busy schedule over the summer. I hope they make it as I cannot wait for this gig.

I dont think i actually have any gigs lined up now which sucks. Napalm Death recently in Sunderland was my last one which was absolutely brutal by the way.

I'm thinking about seeing the Avett Brothers in feb. haven't bought tickets yet. I should get on that.

I'm interested to see what the line-up for Bonnaroo is going to look like this year. I've heard a lot of shitty rumors, and I'm not going to be able to afford to go this time, but I'm interested to see anyway.

For me I am going to see U2 in Miami. if you have never seen them they put on one of the concerts you will ever witness.

Man, words couldn't express how much I wanted to go to Bonnaroo last year. The line-up was ace, and I live an hour and a half away for christ's sake!

Anyway, I have Yo La Tengo and ISIS/Jakob coming up in the near future. I went along with the flatmates to see Electric Wire Hustle play a free show at a local bar. It was packed right to the brim until, much to everyone's disgust, someone vomited/shat in the middle of the floor. :laughing: Still can't complain... it cost us nothing.

Kate Rusby is playing in my town hall in April and as it's only a 20 minute walk I have to go. Shame I will be going on my own but what the hell-she is worth it.

Who cares, go anyway! She would be so lovely to see live, definitely don't miss the opportunity. I'd come with you if I didn't live on the opposite side of the world! :)

The Feelies are playing just a few miles away on March 20th in Milford Connecticut. So psyched!

I plan to visit a pub before hand and have a couple of vodkas to mellow out and then sit back and chill. I will probably look out of place with the bald head and tatts lol! You are more than welcome BTW.
