I don't think I've mentioned in here, but I'm going to Lady Gaga in March, and for the haters, she does put on exceptional theatrical shows even if the music doesn't appeal.

asimplecomplex 02-11-2010 06:34 AM

Cold, Nonpoint & Soulfly live in Fitchburg MA March 13

and if Faith No More tours the US, i'll be there. even if i have to drive 6 hours to get there.

Nothing too exciting as of yet. I'm waiting to see what Summerfest has this year. I see these guys a lot (local reggae group), so they will probably be the next guys I see again:

Bane of your existence 02-19-2010 12:35 PM

Saw De La Soul, Mos Def, Pete Rock, Slick Rick, and Jay Electronica at one show last night. I hate the word epic, but it was epic.

Sansa Stark 02-19-2010 01:04 PM

I'm gonna see Julian Casablancas in April and cry like a little bitch

Rickenbacker 02-19-2010 08:19 PM

I'm going to the Feelies on March 20th, then Elvis Costello, then Beach House and rounding out march with Parliament! It's gonna be a ****ing ace musical month.

adidasss 02-22-2010 12:40 PM

It's really not that bad. Bolded are the one's that I either don't really like but I kind of respect (Vampire Weekend) or the ones that I love (Broken Social Scene). The rest I either hate or am not familiar with. I'd go to this festival.

FETCHER. 02-25-2010 02:51 PM

Thats not the full line up btw, it has several tents for several genres, the full line up hasn't been released yet, yay! :D

T in the Park sold out in 45mins :( I'm empty handed, but I have Stereophonics tonight, and I don't care what any of you think :D!

downwithbill 03-02-2010 04:01 PM

Blues Traveler

April 15th at the House of Blues in Chicago. They haven't been here for awhile and I'm stoked to see them again:tramp:

Rickenbacker 03-04-2010 05:49 PM

My concert schedule is looking great for the next few months.

First and foremost, I have The Feelies here in Connecticut on March 20th. When I come back from Jamaica on the 26th, I've got an Elvis Costello show in New York. The day following that I have Beach House up at Wesleyan. Moving into April I've got The Flaming Lips lined up on the 17th in Poughkeepsie.

Gonna be a great Spring Break!

pourmeanother 03-04-2010 06:24 PM

Looks like I'll be going to "Yuri's Night Bay Area". It's an event commemorating the first time a human went into space (held in 120 cities). There's one in the Bay Area hosted by NASA at their Ames Research Center!! Acts and events that have been announced so far...

The Black Keys;
Common;
N*E*R*D;
Les Claypool;
The Glitch Mob;
etc.

and

Former spacecrafts;
NASA technology;
Astronaut speakers;
Flight demo's;

I'm amped.

Farfisa 03-04-2010 06:52 PM

I haven't been to any shows in awhile for some reason but, I'm going to see Vivian Girls and A Place to Bury Strangers in about a month. Oh, and APTBS look pretty ****ing wild live...

gogojessicat 03-04-2010 07:43 PM

I'm gonna see the hold steady!! I just saw Trevor Hall in Boston a week or so ago. had a great time.
My friends and I are talking about going to the Bamboozle music fest. Anyone been before? I've heard its a good time..

SATCHMO 03-04-2010 08:26 PM

I was excited to see you posted because you live relatively close to me. It figures it's a Boston show. :laughing:

pourmeanother 03-11-2010 01:16 AM

Now..

-Lupe Fiasco at UOP
-The Black Keys, Common, N*E*R*D, etc at NASA Ames in Mountain View
-Passion Pit in Davis
-MURS in NorCal
-Heartless Bastards in San Francisco

That's six artists I'm monumentally into - and one just for fun - in five separate shows, all for around $150!

DiSTANToblivion 03-11-2010 07:28 AM

Just got back from seeing Dinosaur Jr. They were great, very loud (like always) so I couldn't hear a thing afterwards. The support acts really sucked though :(

There was a 10 minute long instrumental that was beyond epic. J, Lou and Murph played the absolute **** outta all their respective instruments. I seriously thought Lou was gonna destroy his bass hahaha. During Sludgefeast (the closer) J went nuts on his guitar and the crowd was NUTS.

Highlights: Freak Scene, Get Me, Feel The Pain and Sludgefeast

+81 03-11-2010 11:12 AM

SNFU tomorrow night.

Bobina 03-11-2010 12:34 PM

I just saw the Black Eyed Peas, (and Ludacris and LMFAO opened). Up Front, Main floor, general admission was brutal, but priceless. I love BEP's music. But too much bass live. Will.i.am, Apl de Ap, Fergie, and Taboo something to see. Seem like they're having fun. I wanted to go in their spaceship in a glitter suit.

Insane Guest 03-11-2010 01:12 PM

The Stones, i'm going to look into that. I'm going to Iron Maiden on June 19th!!!

First post!!!

jacklovezhimself 03-13-2010 06:17 PM

I get to see The Black Lips and Box Elders at Logan Square Auditorium and The Smithwesterns in April.

jackhammer 03-13-2010 06:29 PM

As well as the Sonisphere festival that I am going to in June in Switzerland that I keep banging on about (although it's a brilliant line up), it looks like I will be back over in that neck of the woods a month later for a low key festival. It does however have a warm up gig the night before that I will be going to that is dedicated to the NWOBHM scene with Saxon, Demon and a few others on the bill. For me this is really something with a few bands that formed my youth that I can finally see in a cosy venue. I am absolutely made up.

gunnels 03-13-2010 06:30 PM

Hopefully seeing Shpongle and Aretha Franklin in April!

FaSho 03-13-2010 07:38 PM

Probably seeing Ben Folds next weekend. Gonna be schweet.

scottsy 03-13-2010 08:09 PM

hopefully going to see The Church in Chicago this April, all things going well! It will be awesome since the last time I saw them was waaaaaaaaaaaay back in 2004 when i was still living in Australia!

awesome dude. I really like his Ben Folds Live album.

scottsy 03-14-2010 12:59 AM

I've always had something of a soft spot for Mr. Folds' material... definitely like his early days when he led the band Ben Folds Five...

sidewinder 03-14-2010 04:06 AM

i was planning on seeing melvins in july too but it turns out the show is 19+... at a venue that usually serves liquor and lets in all ages simultaneously with no problem. to add to the ****tiness its only 16 days before i turn 19.

Zarko 03-14-2010 04:38 AM

Redshape, May 1st.

scottsy 03-14-2010 07:47 AM

Do you mind me asking who Redshape are? Where are they from, what kind of style are they?
