It sounds very generic 90's indie rock and is kind of disappointing compared to The Problem With Me.
Are You Driving Me Crazy? is the only Seam album I've ever heard. Upon first listening to it (and eventually about 3 listens) I thought it was ok but very average, nothing really stood out. Recently my girlfriend saw it in my iTunes library and said she really loved that album. We played it while lounging around and I really got to appreciate it more. I've yet to play it again since, so I don't know if it was just how relaxed we were or what, but it really worked that day.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I've seen this band name mentioned quite a few times in conjunction with trip-hop, so I figured it was about time I give them a try. It was a pretty enjoyable album, the guest vocalists like Iggy Pop and Bobby Gillespie were welcome surprises. Some of the longer psychedelic tracks did seem to go on longer than they should, but that's just something psychedelic rock and I don't see eye to eye on. While I don't think this album has made me a fan of the band, I will definitely keep it so I can use a track or two on a playist.
Odd. I personally always class Death In Vegas as an Electronic band that dips into darker genres a la Massive Attack and as such enjoy it a lot more. Aisha is such an uncomplicated piece of work that it is impossible to dislike. A dated album in some respects but I still give it a blast once in a while.

Lou Reed and Metallica Project 'Lulu'. Well somebody has to listen to it (not heard it yet though) and I like to think that there is much more out there to listen to than bland bands bringing out new albums with stupid titles. I prefer maligned to fawning anyhow.

This. Without a doubt.

I could listen to "Baby, Baby, Baby" on repeat for hours.

Blind Willie McTell - King of the Georgia Blues

I bought this today for 10 euros. It's a pretty great deal for an amazing package of 6 CD's and 117 songs. I'm a huge fan of Blind Willie's music and I was more then thrilled when I found this in a local store. I've been really getting into old blues and folk stuff lately.

Just finally got a hold of these puppies. No idea why it took me so long to get around to getting them but both are very good. The horns on a couple track of Prayers on Fire were surprising and awesome. I wish they used them more.

I didn't know he had a new album out. Will get on that ASAP. The Mess We Made is a beguiling listen.

Downloaded:

I loved this album when it came out way back in 1990 and I haven't heard it in over 10 years and it is still a damn good listen. If you are unfamiliar with them they cover Led Zep songs with a Reggae vibe and an Elvis impersonator singing. Sound's awful or just too odd? Well it isn't. This band can really play and add all sorts of quirky elements to their sound. Well pleased I am reacquainted with it:

A 7 part piece that is primarily old school Thrash with a little Death and Progressive thrown in. Damn, damn good. Decent production, composition and riffs.

Bought:
More back catalogue stuff coming in at a mighty £3.63 with free postage:

I only like half of this album but it is definitely worth having on the shelf.

Nowhere near enough Goldfrapp fans here. Shame as they make some really great Pop tunes that have plenty of individuality.

Yes this where Aerosmith came back with a vengeance and went commercial but there are enough tunes on here to still stand up and I only listened to this for the first time in years a month or so back and was bowled over by how good some of it is. St. John is a big standout.
