Aswad and Lou Reed were really good so far, haven't had the time for the other yet.

I've got a soft spot for Social Distortion and Mike Ness in general. I also grabbed a Matisyahu EP called No Place To Be and mc chris' other albums Eating's not Cheating and Life's a Bitch and I'm her Pimp

I agree, I really enjoyed the new Sonic Youth album, and I dont usually get that high on Sonic Youth albums, I guess they just take getting into. I can only really say, out of the 12 Sonic Youth albums I own, that I only really truly 'love' the 'Goo' album.
As for Placebo, they are a bit patchy at times for me. I have 2 albums, 'Placebo' (1996) & 'Black Market Music' (2000).

Oh! Right, I would never have guessed. I actually had the 'Frances The Mute' & 'De-Loused' albums on my pc for ages but never got round to listening to them until a few weeks ago when I listened to the 'Frances The Mute' album and was massively impressed. I had been put off by the cover for so long lol.

Sounds kind of like a cross between Alexisonfire and Hot Water Music. I like it.

Nothing by Michael Jackson.

I was in HMV Ashton branch today and overheard a sales lad say they'd sold out.

Edit: Not that I was in there to buy MJ stuff...which I wasn't!
