Sharon Van Etten - Tramp (2012)
Who owned that wonderfully haunting voice on The Antlers song 'Thirteen'? It was this lovely lady here. Her songs are heartfelt and captivating, sometimes reminding you of Mazzy Star or Feist. It's nothing out of this world but it's an impressive indie-folk album and probably the best thing I've heard so far this year...

Les Discrets - Ariettes Oubliées (2012)
... at least until this has finished downloading. I've been anticipating this release and hopefully it will not disappoint, unlike the latest Alcest album.

Yes! Good to know. I haven't had a chance to listen to the Built to Spill album yet, but I have listened to the Low album and I love it. I've only heard one other album of theirs though ("I Could Live In Hope"), which has some gorgeous tracks on it, but "Things We Lost In the Fire" is more appealing over all, for sure.

If you've ever wondered what The Ramones would sound like if they were a twee pop band
