I have only played Swoon about 3 times I think. Nothing jumps out and grabs you at all :(

That's basically exactly how I felt about it. Stuff like Lazy Eye and Melatonin really stood out when I listened to Carnavas, but there's nothing here that does that.

I'll give it some more plays though, and keep hoping.

I saw an almost identical set as this 8 years ago, around the same time that this live album was recorded. It was one of the better shows of his that I've seen, so it brings back great memories.

I remember getting that shortly after it came out, i played the bloody thing to death for about a month. It was a great record at the time. I've lost interest in QOTSA with the last couple of releases, but that album and Rated R still stand as great.

How are The Protomen? I haven't heard anything but the Megaman relation is a good sign.
