Pulp - Glastonbury 1995
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_SJrYhEXyh7...00/Pulp25b.jpg Finally. I recorded this live and have had it on cassette ever since and listened to it countless times...and now I have it digitally. |

They have seemed to tone down the turntablism on this album and upped the electro house vibe. Unsure ATM as to whether I like it. |

Moon Safari - A Doorway to Summer After my review of their sophomore album, I went and DLed the debut. Gorgeous as expected! :) https://www.insideoutshop.de/images/2099_large.jpg The Tangent - A Place in the Queue Modern day epic jazz-prog with extra flavor. Immensely enjoying this so far. |

Awesome stuff, similar to Jesu and the whole "metal shoegaze" thing. Highly recommended. The band is Pyramids, btw. |
Is it anything like Alcest? If so, I'll have to listen.
|
Sort of, but it's way more melodic than Alcest.
You should listen. It's really incredible. YouTube - Pyramids - Sleds ^Have a taste. |

Excellent early 80's British guitar based pop. If you like Echo & The Bunnymen, then you would love this. |
The one and only by little wyte

'Gish' really has it's classic moments too (Siva!), i'll only get Desire when people stop recommending it to me lol |

Yezda Urfa - Boris (1975) One of the few albums to emerge from America's prog. scene that I would, without reservation, call a masterpiece. It's beautiful, creative, manic and chock-full of all sorts of psychotic tendencies and impulses...just the way I like it!! :tramp: |
Attack & Release and In Rainbows were the last two CDs I bought.. tho I download songs on Zune all the time.

I tried downloading it once but got the album they did in 2003 instead, which was pretty average. Annoying.

Naked City - Grand Guignol John Zorn is a god among men, and Naked City was one hell of a group in the short decade they were active. This particular album features crazy punk-jazz-noise-black metal-sludge-polka spurts of evil, along with several dispersed ambient reinterpretations of famous classical music pieces with jazz/brass instruments instead of violins and the like. Highly recommended! http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_VjPkbGcsKU...e_Revolver.jpg The Flower Kings - Space Revolver One of this highly bashed prog. outfits' jazzier albums, perhaps the best of their whole discography according to fans of the band. Not sure if I agree with that statement yet myself, but I think its pretty good so far. :) |
