Here's an idea. Why not just post about the music when you've actually listened to and can formulate an opinion on it?
I like this logic.

Savages - Silence Yourself

Woke up to some feminist post-punk.

Flying Lotus - You're Dead

The soundtrack I had playing while I babysat some kids, even made them put in an ear-bud. Great stuff.

The Gaslight Anthem - American Slang

The 59' Sound and this^ still remains the Gaslight Anthem's best reecords yet.

I was thinking the same when I first saw the thread. But whatevs. There are far worse threads popping up every day.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Just listened to Elliott Smith's self-titled album beautiful singer-songwriter album, I definitely will be going back to it to get more out of and learn some of the songs he has some tricky chord progressions.

Just listened to it for the first time. Loved it completely.

Show No Mercy is great, so many good times jammin' tracks from that album.

Currently listening to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Dejà Vú for the first time, absolutely beautiful.

Today I listened to

Nazi Dust - Wretched Hour. Hard and raw as ever.

Carcass - Surgical Steel. This is better than Heartwork wuuuuuuuuuuttt

Love Lost But Not Forgotten - Love Lost But Not Forgotten. This is piercing, emotionally, and just those damned vocals.

Love Lost But Not Forgotten - Upon the Night, I See A New Misery

Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence. I rec'd this to Justin earlier, because you can't just go around saying thrash isn't heavy.

Reverend Glasseye - Black River Falls

Louder Than Words - Unholy Punk-Rock

Painkiller - Guts Of A Virgin/Buried Secrets. That's just the cover for the former, but I'm trying to keep images small, the ones without them were too big and I couldn't find others.

The Slits - Cut. Really great, I wish more bands had a sound like this and the Pop Group.

Black Moth Super Rainbow - Start A People. Always fresh, always a favorite.

Ildjarn - Minnesjord

I'm about to put on Dolorian - When All the Laughter Has Gone, and that'd be it for today. The genre isn't very vast, but Dolorian is my favorite for black/doom metal.
