Kid Cudi - Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' (2016)

This is the first time I've listened to Kid Cudi, but I gotta say, I'm diggin' it. I have no idea if this is a solid release or what, but for my taste it's pretty good. Plus, he teams up with Travis Scott on Baptized In Fire so it automatically get a pass.

I just skipped around tracks on that album and I like it so far but will give it a proper listen in a few.

If you want to know quintessential Cudi. Listen to Man on the Moon and Man on the Moon II.

Doris by Earl Sweatshirt

had to come in to work today to play catchup before the holidayz so gotta keep myself motivated. I Don't Like Shit.. is still superior, but that's not a knock on this, which is outstanding as well. Earl is probs on par with Mick Jenkins as my favorite rapper currently.

Giacinto Scelsi - Natura Renovatur

This is the most anxiety-provoking music I've ever heard. I feel sick listening to it. I almost turned it off twice. Would be perfectly at home as the soundtrack to a psychological thriller. I'm going to have to take a triazolam after this.

****ing great microtonal stuff though. Scelsi is the master of unsettling music.

Very nice, I've been getting into Scelsi recently.

Current 93 - Thunder Perfect Mind

i've had a bit of a tough time getting into neo-folk but it seems like whenever i find an album under the genre that i like, i end up loving it. this seems like it'll be another one of those albums. i'm still picking up little things in songs with each listen, but it also works great as background music which is nice.

Quatro Pezzi/Uaxuctum is some of my favourite stuff. Even if it makes me feel anxious and paranoid, I have a lot of respect for its ability to do so.
